How retainers work

A simple monthly plan for ongoing changes, hosting, and maintenance — for shops that update their site regularly.

When you need a retainer

A weauto retainer is right for you if any of these are true:

You add or change services / products / promos a few times a year.
You want fresh photos swapped in seasonally.
You want updates to hours, team, or contact details handled fast — without thinking about cost.
You want hosting, SSL, and domain renewal handled on autopilot.
You want priority response on changes (jumped to the front of the queue).

What's included in a retainer

Hosting + SSL renewal — handled, never lapses.
Domain renewal — included if we manage your domain.
Monthly change requests — a fixed number per month, used for whatever you like (text edits, photo swaps, new sections, hours updates, service additions).
Priority queue — retainer customers' changes get done first, usually within 24 business hours.
Monthly performance check — we keep an eye on speed, broken links, and uptime, and fix issues before you notice them.

What's not included

Whole new pages — we quote those separately (typically $99–$199 per new page).
Full redesigns — quoted separately.
E-commerce, booking systems, or custom integrations — quoted separately.
Paid advertising or SEO campaigns — separate service.

The line between "change request" and "new page" is straightforward — if it's editing what's there, it's a change request. If it's building a new section that doesn't exist, it's a new page. We'll always tell you which before we do the work.

$29 AUD per month — launch tier. Covers hosting, SSL, domain renewal, priority change-request queue, and monthly performance check. Cancel anytime.

What happens to my changes if I don't have a retainer?

The first 90 days after launch: small text/photo/hours updates are included at no charge.

After 90 days, individual changes are quoted as we go — typically:

$25–$45 for a small change (text edit, hours update, single photo swap).
$75–$120 for a larger change (new service entry, multi-photo update, layout tweak).

A retainer makes sense once you're sending us more than 1–2 changes per month — the math works out cheaper, and you don't have to think about cost every time.

Cancel anytime

No lock-ins. Cancel via email, refund pro-rated for unused days. Your site stays yours either way — we don't hold sites hostage. If you cancel and want hosting to continue, we'll quote a yearly hosting-only fee.
