Plain-English version: if we haven't shown you a preview yet, you get your money back, no questions. If we have, we'll work with you to get the site right — and if we still can't, you get the unused portion back.
Build fee ($299)
- Before preview delivery — full refund. Email hello@weauto.org; we'll process it within 5 business days.
- After preview delivery, before go-live— if you're not happy with the preview after both rounds of included revisions, we'll refund $200 of the $299 build fee (we keep $99 to cover work done). We'll never argue about this — if you don't like it, you don't pay full price.
- After go-live— the site is live and yours. The build fee isn't refundable at this point, but we'll work with you to fix any reasonable issue under the 90-day post-launch update window.
- Domain registration — domain registration costs are non-refundable once the domain has been registered (we pay the registrar at registration time and that fee is non-recoverable).
Retainer ($29/mo)
- Cancel any time, effective at the end of the current billing month. Email hello@weauto.org.
- If you prepaid annually and cancel mid-term, we'll refund unused months on a pro-rata basis.
- Hosting and SSL continue through the end of the paid period.
How to request a refund
- Email hello@weauto.org with the subject “Refund request”.
- Include the order email or the business name we built for.
- Tell us briefly what didn't work — feedback helps us improve, but it's not required.
We refund to the original payment method via Stripe. Most refunds appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The ACL gives you guarantees about acceptable quality and fitness for purpose that apply on top of this policy.
