Refund policy

Plain-English version: full refund any time before your site goes live.No questions. We back ourselves to get the preview right — if we don't, you don't pay.

Build fee ($299 + GST)

  • Any time before go-live — full refund (including GST). Doesn't matter if it's before we start, mid-build, after the preview, or after both included rounds of revisions. Email hello@weauto.orgwith the subject “Refund request” and we'll process within 5 business days.
  • After go-live— the site is live and yours. The build fee isn't refundable at this point, but we'll work with you to fix any reasonable issue at no cost.
  • Domain registration — domain registration costs are non-refundable once the domain has been registered (we pay the registrar at registration time and that fee is non-recoverable).

weauto is a sole-trader service — Johnny Do, ABN 42 459 779 676.

Care plan ($39/mo)

  • Cancel any time. Email hello@weauto.org — refund pro-rated for unused days in the current billing month.
  • Hosting and SSL continue through the end of the paid period.
  • Your site stays yours. We provide a one-time export if you want to self-host going forward.

How to request a refund

  1. Email hello@weauto.org with the subject “Refund request”.
  2. Include the order email or the business name we built for.
  3. Tell us briefly what didn't work — feedback helps us improve, but it's not required.

We refund to the original payment method via Stripe. Most refunds appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The ACL gives you guarantees about acceptable quality and fitness for purpose that apply on top of this policy.
